2022-2023 school calendar approved
The 2022-2023 school calendar has been approved by the school board. (View Calendar).
The school year will begin the week before Labor Day, and feature the staggered starts provided in recent years to help students get familiar with new schools and/or classrooms. The first day of school for students will be be:
- Aug. 29 for grades 6 & 9
- Aug. 30 for grades 7, 8, 10-12
- Sept. 6 for K-5 (Ready, Set, Go conferences would be held Aug. 29 - Sept. 1)
The calendar provides an extra day off prior to Thanksgiving in November and two full weeks off for winter break. Spring break will be held March 20-24 and the school year will end on June 7.

Students at Lily Lake Elementary had quite the dance party.
Construction will take place over the next 3 months to get ready for the 23-24 school year.

Students are returning to classrooms this week by car, bus, bike and feet! Please be extra careful as you drive through neighborhoods or near schools and watch out for our kids.
The district’s new superintendent, Dr. Mike Funk, took to the stage at Pony Stadium for the districtwide kickoff event.
In the midst of a very busy week of preparing classrooms and getting familiar with new processes, district staff took an hour to re-connect, re-charge and breathe.
